Vendors of all stripes from New York to California and beyond are cashing in the on the death of Michael Jackson. Nothing wrong with that. Maybe if I had the T-shirt concession for President Obama's election, I could have retired by now. And add to that the Jackson shirt and hat sales - and I'd be sailing towards Rio right now.
Reports from Los Angeles say the memorial service - maybe at $25 a head - will draw crowds upwards of 700,000 people. This is a Lady Diana type of outpouring and I think that number is far too Conservative.
