Jockey Aaron Gryder is a walking billboard before the 6th race at Santa Anita Park. When I saw him standing in the paddock area while waiting for his mount, I thought it was unusual for him to be wearing a "For Rent" sign on his back (and his front for that matter.) But as it turns out, Gryder is not as hard up for a sponsor as you might think. Westside Rentals- a big apartment rental company in southern California- chose this way to advertise its services. BTW, Something Sonic finished second and paid $10 for a place bet.
