When In Miami ...

A recent quick trip to Florida led me to pose with this surfboard while walking in the tourist trap known better as South Beach in Miami. I don't surf, but here in New York, the new fad of stand-up paddle boarding is catching on and I will try that since I'll be allowed to wear a life-jacket seeing how I'm not much of a swimmer.


Here's a photo-taking tip: Look for clean, uncluttered backgrounds when taking tourist photos. This is the second version of this picture. The first one had an open door in the background and was a distraction that had to be eliminated. So a few steps to the left was all that was necessary to clean things up
